A population analyst alerted the government of increasing number of educated nationals leaving the country for better jobs abroad.
Juba University lecturer Venasio Tombe Muludiang told CRN on Thursday that national economic policies should be streamlined to minimise brain drain especially youth migration.
He advised the government to ensure employment opportunities, conducive working conditions for nationals and consider relevant skills training.
Muludiang observed that many South Sudan’s scholars chose to work abroad due to better living conditions, causing socio-economic problems to the country.
