Police confiscates, burns drugs in Yambio

The police criminal investigation department or CID on Monday burnt dozens of confiscated drugs and alcohol in Yambio, Western Equatoria State.
 
Yambio County Deputy Police Inspector Charles Guli Lisasi said last year the State Governor issued an order banning consumption of Knockout, Empire and Zed alcohols, Anisa Radio reported. 
 
He added that the CID in Yambio confiscated from the traders in Yambio all harmful goods consisting of drugs and alcohol including Shisha.
 
Mr Guli warned that lawbreakers would be fined for 30 days imprisonment for the first time, six months for the second time and pays 500 South Sudanese Pounds.
 
He directed all traders and consumers to abide by the local order.
