Eastern Equatoria rejects poor animal drugs

Eastern Equatoria Ministry of Animal Resources and Fisheries rejected three types of drugs imported from India due to their poor quality.
 
The state government purchased the drugs at the cost of 600 thousand South Sudan Pounds, Emmanuel Radio reported.
 
Animal Resources and Fisheries minister Hassan Alex Urbano told journalists that the state government ordered the company to return the poor drugs.
 
He explained that drugs returned included oxtetracycline for cattle and brenal powder for pigs.
 
The minister added that other six types of drugs requested were not brought.
