Tetanus vaccination and maternal care campaign started on Thursday in Tonj South County of Warrap State.
Tetanus Supervisor Marko Agur Malang said the vaccination targets women and girls between 15 and 49 years old, Don Bosco Radio reported.
He said the vaccination is free of charge calling on women and girls to come for the vaccines.
Mr Malang said immunization of children below five years also started in Tonj Civil Hospital, Don Bosco and Indeed and Truth ministry and all health centres.
He said women and girls who got the first vaccination have to come for the second round.
The supervisor said the campaign aimed at preventing child-bearing women and girls from tetanus infection.
Mr Malang urged all communities of Tonj South to allow their women and girls to come for the vaccination.
