A Development organization is training local farmers in first phase of two-day capacity building workshop in Yambio on management skills.
Rural Development Action Aid Coordinator Wanga Emmanuel told Anisa Radio that the local farmers learn field management, seed selection quality, field calendar, production system and marketing.
He explained that the trainees are empowered to implement the knowledge and educate the rest of the community in their areas.
Mr Wanga added that the training is divided into three phases for 21 participants from Naakiri, Saura and Baguga.
He complained that they face problem of limited resources and language barriers to expand their programs to all counties.
Mr Wanga said in February they trained facilitators in Ibba County, Yambio County and Nzara County.
