The Deputy Governor of Warrap State on Saturday opened the Tonj Smile Hospital and guests’ house.
The Hospital and the house were built by Joseph Lee from South Korea in Tonj South County, Don Bosco Radio reported
Akec Tong Aleu said Mr Lee will renovate the new secondary school and invest in agriculture after completing the renovation of the hospital.
He said Tonj Smile is the name of the project brought by South Korea to Tonj South in the name of late Salesian Fr John Lee.
Mr Aleu said Tonj Smile Hospital will help many people with treatment and surgery.
He said the new secondary school will be named John Lee Secondary School.
Mr Aleu said Joseph Lee is the brother of late father John Lee.
He came with others visitors from South Korea for the opening ceremony of Tonj Smile Hospital.
Mr Aleu said visitors invited him and one official from the state to visit their country to acquaint themselves with the agricultural technology of South Korea.
He urged all the people of Tonj South to respect and cooperate with the South Korean visitors.
