International Medical Corps and Health Net won the bids to construct two health centres in Western Bahr El Ghazal state.

The construction of primary health care is funded by Pool Fund of more than two million British Pounds, Voice of Hope reported.

Health Net state coordinator Godfrey Kiyimba said his organization won Jur River and Raga counties’ proposal.

He described it as an opportunity for the rural people to get medical services and improve their living standard.

Mr Kiyimba expressed his readiness to start the work by renovating the old constructions and building new ones in the two counties.

He pointed out that donors made an assessment and gave the funds based on the population of each county.

The projects that start in July are expected to be concluded in June 2015.
