Western Bahr El Ghazal Deputy Police Commissioner dismissed rumours about the resurrection of a six-year-old boy.

Brigadier Deng Malual told Voice of Hope on Thursday that the news that spread all over the state early on Monday was false.

The family of a boy who died three years ago went to the police claiming that the boy was found around in their compound.

The deputy police commissioner said investigation showed that the boy, who cannot speak, is one of the street dwellers who starved for quite a long time.

Brigadier Malual said the police reached to the tomb and found it closed.

They concluded that the street boy is believed to resemble the dead one.

The local priest also testified that the information about the resurrection was not true.
