Business community expressed happiness following the launched of business passport in Juba saying the document would facilitate the process of importing goods from abroad.
William Akwock, a wholesaler at Konyokonyo market said the passport will protect local business persons abroad, Bakhita Radio reported.
He said business people used to be cheated abroad as a result expired goods was imported into the country.
Mr Akwock added that business passport will give South Sudanese business community more weight abroad.
Another business man Ajing Ayuel described the passport as something big, very important and will make them gain respect in other country.
Earlier South Sudan used diplomatic and personal passports for travelling abroad.
Processing the business passport costs 3,000 South Sudanese Pounds.
