Lakes State Social Development minister described the late Bishop Caesar Mazzolari as the second Daniel Comboni.
Ezekiel Thiang Manger said the late Bishop Mazzolari was a man of vision and plan, Good News Radio reported.
The minister said the late bishop should remain in the prayers of the people of Lakes State forever.
Mr Thiang said all Christians should keep on praying since the devil is disturbing the nation.
He advised the community to take good care of children.
Mr Thiang revealed that the growing number of street children in the markets was alarming.
Fr John Malou called on the youths, elders and community leaders to maintain peace.
He advised the youths to be ambassadors of love in the community.
The two speakers made the statement on Tuesday during the second memorial mass for the late Bishop Caesar Mazzolari at Holy Family Cathedral in Rumbek.
