Presidential assistant and NCP deputy Chairman Nafie Ali Nafie said at a press conference yesterday that the upcoming government will not be a coalition.
Dr. Nafie added that the government will be formed towards the end of May or early June.The statement contradict’s Omar ah-Bashir’s promise of a broad based cabinet to unite the country tpwards the referendum.
In mid-April, presidential adviser Ghazi Salah Al-Deen Al-Attabani said the NCP would invite all parties to join the government even if they lost in the elections or boycotted them in order to build consensus.
