Residents of Wau, Western Bahr El Ghazal State, on Thursday showed up for artistic activities at Wau Cultural Theatre.
Representative from more than 20 tribes participated in the show with different cultural activities marking the second independence anniversary celebrations, Voice of Hope reported.
The show included traditional dances, poems and dramas.
Chinese and the Kenyan battalions at the United Nations Mission in South Sudan participated with traditional displays.
The festival aimed at maintaining the identity of African and their cultures.
