A Muslim leader prayed for God to be merciful to the people of South Sudan during the holy month of Ramadan that started on Wednesday.
Juba Mosque head Musa Garang Ngor told CRN on Friday that he asked God to purify the hearts of South Sudanese to live as brothers and sisters.
He earlier congratulated Muslims on the holy month of Ramadan and all South Sudanese on the second independence anniversary celebrations.
Imam Garang called on fellow Muslims to share their food with passersby when breaking the fast.
He called on South Sudanese to live together peacefully.
