SPLM Political Bureau met last evening and announced some conditions to join a government of national unity including the full implementation of the Comprehensive Peace Agreement.

SPLM Secretary General, Pagam Amum, met this morning the press in Juba to announce the decisions taken by the Political Bureau.

Mr. Amum said his party will decide to join the national government only after studying its programme concerning the referendum and the borders demarcation.

Mr. Amum added that SPLM Chairman Salva Kiir Mayardit was mandated to form an inclusive and broad based government to unite South Sudan towards the referendum.

The SPLM Secretary General said the priority of his party was to lead South Sudan to the referendum that it takes place within the CPA time-frame.
