The National Prayers for Peace, Healing and Reconciliation officially started in Juba as a beginning of peace and reconciliation process in the country.
Bishop Arkangelo Lemi asked God to forgive South Sudanese for all the misconducts they committed against one another and unite them in order to build the young country.
He prayed that God restores the lost values of the people of South Sudan and unite them.
While Bishop Lemi prayed hundreds of people were crying and falling on the ground confessing theirs sins.
The prayer was celebrated under the theme ‘if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves, pray and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, forgive their sin and heal their land.”
