Tonj’s Don Bosco Brass Band and Prison Wardens are preparing for the second independence anniversary celebration.
Prison Officer Lual Machar advised the citizens of Tonj South County to refrain from tribal and negative political arguments, Don Bosco Radio reported.
He said the coming celebrations need people to purify their hearts to enjoy the freedom which took many lives during the liberation struggle.
He added that officers on duty were allowed to move with their guns during the independence anniversary celebration.
Disable Officer Chan Akec urged all his colleagues to celebrate the second anniversary in peace and unity.
He encouraged all the students to continue with their studies.
