Rape cases are increasing in Wau, Western Bahr El Ghazal State.
American Refugee Committee or ARC Gender Based Violence Officer Bety Akello said the increased rape cases need every one’s concern.
This came on Thursday during a closing session of a three-day workshop on clinical care and management of rape assault survivors in Wau.
Wau Teaching Hospital Medical Officer Nickson Anthony said he learnt new skills about rape cases and now can deal with survivors.
He called on the rape victims to look for medical treatment first before they look for legal assistance.
Mr Anthony urged the citizens to refrain from bad behaviour.
