Torit Catholic Diocese Apostolic Administrator prayed to God to grant peace and solidarity among the people of South Sudan.
Thomas Oliha asked God to take away the rampant cattle raiding and killings of innocent people in Eastern Equatoria, Emmanuel Radio reported.He appealed to people of the state and to South Sudanese in general to accept diversity as a gift from God.
Monsignor Oliha called upon God to grant wisdom, courage and light to the state legislators to deliberate with responsibility and truth and pass laws for the holistic development of South Sudan.
He prayed for citizens to follow the laws of the state and the nation and mutually cooperate with the legislators.
The apostolic administrator asked God to cast out tendencies of tribalism, nepotism and corruption and grant peace, solidarity, respect and love to Eastern Equatoria and South Sudan.
Monsignor Oliha was blessing the forth session of the state legislative assembly.
