Eight US donors on Friday visited Tombura-Yambio Catholic diocese to inspect all development activities.
Steve Wenga said the delegation came to see some of the church activities, Anisa Radio reported.Diocesan Deputy Pastoral Coordinator Luke Yugue explained that the group supported the Solidarity Teachers College in Yambio and Rii-Menze Parish.
He said Bishop Edwardo Hiiboro of Tombura Yambio invited the group for a ground visit.
Bishop Hiiboro welcomed the team reassuring them of his commitment to serve the people of God.
The diocese presented a report to the donors with achievements and challenges.
Bishop Hiiboro escorted the donors to tour all the diocesan schools, including Solidarity Teachers College, Abangite Nursery School, St. Mary Primary schools, Abangite College for Science and Technology and St. Joseph’s Minor Seminary.
