About 3,000 new arrivals were verified and registered in Aweil East and North counties in Northern Bahr El Ghazal.
The displaced people reported that they fled increasing insecurity and armed attacks in areas around River Kiir, South Darfur and South Kordofan in Sudan, UNOCHA said.Some reported abuse and harassment.
The displaced were asked to pay fees to be allowed to cross over into Aweil North County.
Humanitarian partners stepped up efforts to monitor and track new arrivals and are providing assistance to the displaced communities.
