A Western Equatoria State Minister urged women to organize themselves in groups and write proposals for support
Gender, Child and Social Welfare Minister Norma Fadul told participants in a three-day workshop on Thursday in Yambio to implement the knowledge acquired from the event, Anisa Radio reported.She called on the participants to disseminate the information they got to all their communities.
Ms Fadul requested all partners dealing with gender issues to educate rural women and empower them economically.
Participant representative Grace Charles said they learned new things in the workshop.
Kpimbata Michael from Male Gender appreciated EVE Organization for the workshop.
He requested more trainings and support to women.
EVE Organization trained 36 women on gender empowerment and women rights promotion.
