Emmanuel Radio is celebrating four years on air, treating listeners in Eastern Equatoria state.
The station started broadcasting in Torit on June 19, 2009.Emmanuel Radio Director Santino Lounoi said the establishment of the station is traced back to 2006.
He explained that Emmanuel Radio is a community based FM station established by the Catholic Diocese of Torit to enable communities to access information in order to make informed decisions.
Fr Lounoi said information creates a platform for development, peace and reconciliation.
Emmanuel Radio is one the nine stations that form the Catholic Radio Network.
