Tonj South County in Warrap State over the weekend welcome new Acting Prison Director.

Akol Bul Machar told Don Bosco Radio that there were 298 prisoners in Tonj Central Prison.

Mr Machar said most cases were adultery, theft, murder and cattle raids.
He said there was no judge to prosecute the cases but that the first class judge was going to start trying the inmates.
Mr Machar explained that the prison was in bad shape mostly the roof and the windows needed renovation.
He urged all the prisoners to be patient saying the High Court Judge arrived to the County last week to handle their cases.
