Sudan Armed Forces or SAF on Friday ambushed Justice and Equality Movement or JEM soldiers killing five and wounded 15 others on Babanusa-El Fula road.
JEM Military Medical Doctor Al- Wathiq Ali confirmed the killing saying his comrades were coming from North Darfur to join SPLA-North Forces in the Nuba Mountains.He said the initiative was to operate as Sudan Revolutionary Front or SRF fighting to overthrow Khartoum Government.
Dr Ali said JEM forces were coming to Nuba Mountains region of South Kordofan, to integrate as SRF Forces.
He said they want to enter Khartoum because fighting in the remote areas would create more militias.
Darfur rebel movements and SPLM-North signed an alliance in 2011 to overthrow the Government of Al-Bashir.
