An official relief organization vowed to promote the community through the development of social amenities in Nuba Mountains.
Nuba Relief and Rehabilitation Development Organization Director Mangati Kornolius made the statement Monday at the opening of a four-day workshop for health workers.He said the organization supported the workshop with logistics and money.
The workshop for health workers is viewed as one of the great achievements in the history of the struggle of the SPLM-North against the National Congress Party.
Hawadi Alimam Tia thanked the organizers saying that their commitment to attend the training was part of the struggle for liberation.
She said she did not mind sleeping in the floor in order to learn more about health care.
A consortium director said despite of war in the region, they are working hard to support their people.
He accused the Government of Khartoum of banning humanitarian agencies from Nuba Mountains and using food and medicine as weapons.
The Director of Animal Health Sodi Shamilla stated that it is crucial that everybody stands firm in the positions they are holding because they are aiming to rule a nation.
Minister for Council of Civil Service, Abdel-Gader Issa, said the workshop should be helping reduce death in Nuba Mountains because many people are suffering with the war.
