The draws for the CECAFA-Kagame Club Cup to be played in restive North Darfur and South Kordofan take place in Khartoum on Tuesday.
CECAFA Secretary General Nicholas Musonye of Kenya announced the draw after he visited El Fasher for the second time over the weekend.Thirteen clubs from from Sudan, South Sudan, Tanzania, Kenya, Somalia, Djibouti, Zanzibar, Rwanda, Burundi and Uganda participate in a two week tournament played in El Fasher and Kadugli between June 18 and July 2.
Al Nasr represents South Sudan.
“The people of Sudan are ready for the event and we want to make one of the best Kagame Cup competitions ever”, said Sudan Football Association treasurer Osama Atelamanan.”
