Members of Western Equatoria State Legislative Assembly approved the Governor’s report on Monday evening.
Speaker Bage James Elisa told Radio Anisa that the Committee of Legislation and Legal Affairs approved the report Governor Bangasi Joseph Bakosoro delivered to the House on March 26 while opening the first sitting in 2013.Speaker Bage said all the eight committees in the assembly had a marathon discussion on the Governor’s speech.
He added that due to austerity measures, most of their work was to check and see the status of staffing in all the ministries, and the plans laid by the ministers if resources had come in.
The Governor reported on all the ministries, their successes and failures and the way forward.
