The Chairperson of the Committee of Information in the National Legislative Assembly said the media bills would be in the agenda of the House next week for their second reading.
Joy Kwaje Eluzai said President Salva Kiir Mayardit prioritized the media bills to be passed into law in a speech two weeks ago.
She advised the media practitioners to attend the second reading of the three media bills in order to forward their comments to MPs before the third reading.
Ms Kwaje said the current media bills are in the National Assembly since July 16, 2012 and not since seven years ago as it was said.
She added that nobody wanted to sit on the media bills and their second reading was eminent.
