Southern Sudan Democratic Forum (SSDF) said it will not recognize the results of the elections concluded on Thursday.
SSDF leader Elia Lomoro told the press this morning that his party after internal consultation decided to reject the elections results.Dr. Lomoro lamented that the party agents suffered serious harassment and intimidations at polling stations.
He added that the SSDF will not recognize the results because they were marred by fraud and rigging.
Dr. Lomuro urged southern opposition political parties and the citizens to remain calm.
He added that the referendum for South Sudan remains an important symbol of unity among southerners.
Dr. Lomoro said his party members have withdrawn from different elections in warap due to intimidations and harassments.
