The state government radio in Western Equatoria State, Yambio FM is off air for some times since Wednesday night last week.
In a friendly dialogue with the Acting Manager Mbugo Philip Gbagaza told Anisa Radio that the rebroadcasting of Yambio FM might take some times.He said some capacitors in the transmitter got burnt and affected the circuit which further developed damages to other parts of the system.
Last year the state ministry for Information and Telecommunication planned to expand Yambio FM boosters to reach all the ten counties in the State.
Yambio FM used to broadcast 24 hours and seven days a week on 90.0 Megahertz.
