JUBA ARCHBISHOP ORDAINS TWO PRIESTS

The Catholic Archbishop of Juba on Sunday ordains deacons Charles Busak and Prudensio Sule to the priesthood at Saint Theresa’s Cathedral in Kator.

Deacon Busak told Bakhita Radio that he decided to become a priest to meet high community demand.

He said he wanted to be a servant in the Church where everyone had a role to play to make the community and country to grow in peace.

Deacon Sule said he longed for the priesthood and felt okay about his ordination because people were accompanying him.

He revealed that he wanted to be a humble leader, able to administer the sacraments and guide the people of God in the right direction.

Deacon Sule added that he wanted to be an exemplary priest in order to reflect the image of Christ to the people of God.

The ordination takes take place at Saint Theresa’s Cathedral in Kator at 10 AM on the Good Shepherd Sunday.

The fourth Sunday of Easter is also the Day of prayer for vocations in the Catholic Church.
