Juba residents of all faiths are invited to take par this afternoont in a prayer meeting for the elections results.
The event is organized by the Sudan Council of Churches (SCC) and takes place at All Saints Cathedral, in Hai Mobil, starting at 2 PM.Rev. Tiberious Lecca Beguro, Regional Facilitator for SCC Equatoria Region invited Christians and Muslins alike to take part in the prayer event in order to welcome in peace the final results of the elections.
Last week, GoSS caretaker president, Salva Kiir Mayardit, met with the religious leaders and asked them to promote prayers for peace while waiting for the elections final results.
the National Elections Council said last week the final results will be announced tomorrow.
