Western Equatoria state minister for Local Government and Law Enforcement on Tuesday visited Yambio County Headquarters to assess and reinforce local government activities.
Izbon Daniel Zingifuaboro told the County Executive Council that he was touring all the ten counties of the state to assess how the recently deployed administrators were doing in their new duty stations, Radio Anisa reported.He told the press that he would establish a county executive council in every county to work alongside the county commissioners.
Mr Zingifuaboro called upon the administrators to stay away from politics and stick to their responsibilities by drawing effective work plans.
Yambio County Commissioner Kuzee John Elia appreciated the Minister for his closeness to the civil servants under his ministry at and counties level.
He requested the Minister to deploy two more administrators to Yambio.
The new deployed administrators present at the meeting complained about lack of accommodation and transport allowances.
