The National Procurement department in the Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning organised a one-day workshop on Tuesday in Yambio.
Sixty people were drawn from various ministries and commissions in Western Equatoria stateSpeaking to Anisa Radio, the National Director General for Procurement, Christopher Lobojo Gorole, said they were in Western Equatoria State to assess the state public fund dissemination, and pass the skills to the stakeholders.
Mr Lobojo stressed that to run an effective functional government it requires a well procured system of funds to deliver services.
He urged all the financial personnel from the various state ministries, commissions and UN bodies to disseminate the fund equitably.
Similar workshops have been conducted in Jonglei and Northern Bahr el Ghazal.
In May, it will be the turn of Unity State.
