Yei River authorities have called on the business community to cooperate with the Government to allow a peaceful reorganisation of the Hawker centre in Yei.

County Commissioner Juma David Augustine explained that the plan to re-demarcate the Hawker area will provide better transport access, electricity and security, Radio Easter reported.

Mr Juma noted that the Government is committed to support the business community by attributing individual plots that guarantee their future and the future of their children.

He said documented business people will access loans from credit institutions.

The Hawker demarcation process should start as soon as technical assessments headed by the department of physical infrastructure are formalised.
