Assistant chairperson of Gidel polling center, Jeyily Osman Ibrahim, told Radio Voice of Peace, that the elections commission never sent all the lists of people who registered to vote to the polling centres.
Mr. Osman, who belongs to the SPLM, said that despite the fact that many people did not cast their votes, about 80 percent of registered voters took part in the election in Gidel.
Mr. Osman said that there was no major complain from the parties.
Mr Muhammed Hassan Tia, representing the NCP, said the election process was carried out without any violence.
The security in Nuba Mountains remains stable.
