JUBA TO GET 24 HOURS ELECTRICITY IN JULY

The Governor of Central Equatoria said on Monday that Juba will soon get 24 hours power supply early July following construction of a new power plant that will produce 100 Megawatts of energy.

Governor Clement Wani Konga said in the launching ceremony of China Jiangsu development projects in the state that the company started setting up the generators on Monday.

He added that power plant will also supply clean tap water to each house in Juba.

The governor explained that the water will be pumped from Lologo area to Korok Mountain and then brought to houses through gravity.

The Director of Best Care Holding Company, Ali Cuba Gabriel Suliman, said the company has plans to install a power facility to benefit the community and improve the security in the city.

He added that his company will provide capacity building, water supply and health services to people of Central Equatoria.
