The Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) has reportedly reduced its medical activities in Yei Due to increased insecurity in the area.
On Tuesday, May 6, 2025, MSF published a press statement announcing its decision to reduce outreach medical activities around Yei of Central Equatoria State, South Sudan, until further notice.
These activities are a critical lifeline for people in remote areas with little or no access to healthcare.
“We are deeply concerned about the impact this reduction will have on vulnerable communities,” MSF stated
MSF urges all parties to the conflict to ensure the protection of civilians and guarantee unhindered access to medical and humanitarian assistance for all citizens in South Sudan.
