One died and 25 other Candidates Misses P8 final Exams Across Eastern Equatoria State

At least twenty-six candidates missed the certificate of primary leaving examination across Eastern Equatoria State.

The Director General for Quality Assurances and Standards at the State Ministry of Education in Eastern Equatoria, Lokulang Faustino says 26 candidates missed the Primary eight final exams out of 4805 from the 47 examination centers across Eastern Equatoria State.

Lokulang mentioned that one dead case was reported in Nimule town council where a student drowned in a river near their area.

He sends condolences to the family of the missing soul that would have been the best student in the primary leaving examination.

“On the issue of the death case registered from Nimule town council one child was drawn in the water and has passed on so we are very sorry for the missing soul that could have been the best learner in the state, so the other issues like the domestic issues are issues happening in the areas. Some people sat in prison and the hospital,” Lokulang added.

He revealed that the total number of candidates who missed by gender includes 9 females and 17 males.

“From the number of 4805, we have realized from all the 47 examination sitting centers, we have the reports from the monitors and the area supervisors showing the dropout that is the absenteeism in some of the centers, we have a total number of 26 candidates missing the examination this year and the total number by gender 9 girls and 17 male and the reason behind that others have gone to the neighboring countries depending on the situation they have, others are on the issues of death cases, sickness, and other social domestic issues,”
