The People with Disability Organization together with its partners has organize a round table meeting for disable people, which gathers more than 30 participants.
The meeting aims to evaluate the activities they have been doing the previous months and the way forward.
The executive director of the organization Lino Madut emphasizes on the activities they are doing within Wau County, including awareness raising, inclusive education, and ensuring children under are made equal with others.
“However the organization is lacking fund to expand the activities within south Sudan,” he adds.
The chairperson of union of people with disability John Akot highlights some of the challenges they are facing including lack of office for the union, fund and help from people.
He also calls on government institutions and others to cooperate and empower the disable persons.
Representative of the disable Natale Hussein expresses his gratitude for the initiate they took which brings the disable on the board to be equal with the rest.
The speakers made their remarks to voice of hope radio on Saturday at the Civic engagement center in Wau.
