The government, South Sudan Basketball Federation, and MTN has planned to erect big screens to watch South Sudan Basketball players playing in the Paris 2024 Olympic Games across nine states and one administrative area.
The Paris 2024 Olympic Games are expected to start on Sunday 28th July 2024, South Sudan basketball team up against Puerto Richo, Wednesday 31st with the USA, and August 3rd with Serbia respectively.
The Minister of Youth and Sports Dr. Joseph Geng Akech announced that the states that will receive screens to watch the Olympic Games include Central Equatoria, Northern Bhar el Bhazel, Eastern Equatoria, Western Equatoria, Jonglei, Lakes, Warrap, Western Bhar el Gazel, Unity, and Abyei Administrative Area.
He added that free printed T-shirts will be given to fans at the viewing ground.
