Twenty members of the Catholic faith have received the sacrament of confirmation in Our Lady Help of Christians Pacong Parish.
The Apostolic Administrator of the Catholic Diocese of Rumbek and Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Bentiu, Christian Carlassare, during the confirmation, told the people that they are not lost sheep and that God calls them to seek him.
Bishop Carlassare urges the faithful to have faith and trust in God and always be accepted to receive his gift.
He adds that everyone has a choice of what to be but they should trust God to choose for what each one wants to be.
Bishop Christian further appeals to the faithful that the community and society’s stance on the faith should not only be on the big services of the big people, adding that vocation is only attained during the confirmation.
He additionally adds that vocation is not one’s choice for life but is the decision each one takes till the last day, calling on people to reconcile.
