The governor of Western Bahr el Ghazal State Sarah Cleto Rial has promised to provide electricity to all places of worship.
Her gesture came during the Inauguration of Cardinal Zubier Palace in Wau this week.
Governor Sarah says many government officials have roots in the Church and view each other as brothers and sisters within the Church although their behavior changes.
She further mentioned that exhibiting calmness and humility aligns with the teachings of the Church, affirming the government’s initiative to support not only the Church but all faith communities in the state.
Governor Sarah explained that the free electricity provision will be to all places of worship, including Churches and Mosques.
The State Governor made these remarks to the media houses on Thursday during the Inauguration of Cardinal Zubier Palace at Curia premises in Wau.
