The Rumbek Vocational Training Center in Lakes State has launched its teaching program, targeting a group of around 200 people.
Director of Rumbek Vocational Training Center Mr. Jacob Machwek Maker says the aim is to provide learning opportunities for people through six course units offered to the learners.
He stated that they had already graduated over 300 youths over the past years.
Director Machwek urges the public to come and enrich themselves with this golden opportunity and inform the people to disseminate information early such that many applicants turn up in big numbers for the effective training to occur.
Mr. Maker further conveyed some of the challenges saying lack of lunch on the school premises and some transport fees, especially for pregnant women caused dropout.
The director also highlighted that some men do not permit their wives to be trained, which is the greatest difficulty that they are facing as the institution.
He voiced his gratefulness for seeing his students progressing well after graduation by being employed and receiving huge money immediately.
