The Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Wau Matthew Remijio Adam has assigned Father Andrea Naro last week as the new Parish Priest of Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish- Mayen Abun replacing Father Gabriel Kuol Akec who was recently appointed as Vicar General of the Catholic Diocese of Wau.
The outgone Parish Priest Father Gabriel Kuol Akec urges the faithful of Mayen Abun to cooperate and work together with the new parish priest to continue evangelization of the word of God.
The newly appointed parish priest Father Andrea Naro thanks the outgoing parish priest Father Gabriel Kuol and assures him of commitment to working together with the faithful of Mayen Abun.
The Chief of Mayen Abun Rehan Cyier Rehan says as the community leaders they will continue to work together with the new parish priest and his assistant for the word of God to go forward.
