The Ambassador of South Sudan to China and South Korea Kimbu Monday has led a team of 15 Korean students and officials from the Lee Tae Seok Foundation have visit Saint Daniel Comboni Secondary School in Juba.
The visit is for the students from South Korea to acquaint themselves with students in South Sudan.
Ambassador Monday who is an alumnus of Comboni Secondary School, called on students to be vigilant in the face of hardship as the government puts efforts to improve the educational atmosphere in the country.
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Lee Foundation, stated that the purpose of their mission is to share the spirit and message of the Lee Foundation of living together and sharing love with students at Comboni Secondary School.
The deputy headteacher of Saint Daniel Comboni Amanya John appreciated Ambassador Monday and the team for the visits and shared some of the challenges facing the school.
The visiting students from South Korea and Saint Daniel Comboni engaged each other and shared their experiences on educational challenges and concerns
Lee Tae Seok Foundation is a society founded in tribute to the late South Korean Catholic Priest John Lee who built a hospital and a school in Tonj of Warrap State. Father John Lee died of Cancer in 2011 at the age of 48 years old.
