Four Catholic Priests at Wau diocese have celebrated their consecration anniversary to the priesthood in St. Anthony of Padua parish in Bussere in Wau.
In the thanksgiving mass presided over by Father Christo Justo, he thanked God for the gifts he gave to the four priests.
Christo also recognized God for his protection despite all the challenges they went through.
The representative of the priests celebrating their consecration anniversary, Father Louis Asonjo, praises the lord the works and uses them to preach His Word to the people.
He said that despite the difficulties they faced, the slogans they chose at the time of their consecration strengthened them and encouraged them in the priesthood service.
The Bishop of the Catholic Church Diocese of Wau, Matthew Remijo Adam, appealed to the four priests to be courageous in their service.
He implored them to strengthen their relationships with God despite all the difficulties of life.
He also encouraged the seminarian’s students to strive in their journey towards preaching the Word of God.
The priests who celebrated their consecration anniversary were Father Germano Bernardo Baku, 21 years of priesthood, Father William Majak, 18 years, Father Luis Asongo, 17 years, and Father Heidegar Ermenio, one year as a priest.
It is reported that they were consecrated to the rank of priesthood on the 6th of January in different years.
