The Governor of Eastern Equatoria Luis Lobong Lojore has on Thursday 16th November launched a foundation stone of Habalwa Community School in Habalwa village of Torit in Eastern Equatoria State.
According to the Gubernatorial Press Unit, Governor Louis Lobong Lojore, used the occasion to appreciate the community of Habalwa for the great initiative and affirmed government’s commitment to continue helping the progressive and resilience programmes in the State.
The Governor also donated SSP 10,000,000 to Habalwa community on behalf of the state government in support of the school and added 1,000,000 SSP on behalf of the SPLM State Secretariat summing to 11 Million South Sudan pounds donation respectively.
The Governor reiterated that, his leadership will organise awards programmes to encourage communities who are resilient in terms of development and peaceful coexistence in Eastern Equatoria State.
The Governor however encouraged the professionals from Habalwa Community to joint hands together with the government in service delivery.
