A Consortium of organizations has conducted two days conference to design a roadmap to support durable peace solutions in the Yei River.
Members of the consortium include UN agencies and International organizations operating in the area.
Commissioner of Yei River County Aggre Cyrus regrets the activity carried out by National Salvation Front.
He says the organization was formed to fight government arms to ensure that their objectives are met but not civilians and religious leaders.

The authority further termed the act of killing people as criminality that does not carry the meaning of rebellion since they don’t target the government.
He says the group wants to destroy the dignity of the vulnerable civilians and they are not to be called or justified as Rebels but rather legitimate criminals.
The Hon. Commissioner was giving his remarks during the two days durable solutions conference at ECSS Guest House in Yei.
