The Field Officer of Community Empowerment for Progress Organization CEPO Yeka Joel says peace is a collective responsibility and challenged citizens to sustain it in societies.

Yeka highlighted that each person must play when it comes to peace and reminds the population that peace is not with government officials or organizations.

He mentions that if people unite themselves as one for a common goal they will achieve their goal and fight the threads.

Joel calls on the people not to wait instead stand up as one and exercise their responsibilities as citizens of the nation and Central Equatoria State in particular.

The Field Officer adds that if people come and build up together there will be a strong and sustainable peace.

Meanwhile, the Chief of Peace Residential Area Elisha Kenyi encourages the citizens to always speak the language of peace in places of work and within the societies.

He says peace can only prevail if people speak one language of togetherness to get better services like education and development in the communities.
